Clinical Lab Consulting (CLC) offers a broad range of individualized services that are designed to support a wide variety of client needs. At the client’s request, CLC senior management will perform an initial evaluation of the requested project and match the client with one of CLC’s expert consultants. The client will work closely with their expert consultant throughout the course of the project, as well as having the option to utilize the expertise of the entire consulting team. In addition, CLC’s Board of Consultants oversees the entire development process throughout the course of the project.
Each member of our team has an impressive track record in the field of laboratory science. Each member is experienced in meeting all regulatory requirements, implementing quality assurance and initiatives, laboratory process and workflow, technical methodology and training, cost effectiveness and billing practices. Consultants are carefully selected to fulfill the client’s needs and goals while maintaining the level of service desired. Customization is the key to both your and our success. We work with existing laboratory staff to facilitate a successful, timely and cost effective project launch. In addition, more extensive support can be requested for non-laboratory medical staff, to aid them in meeting regulatory requirements and developing plans to bring clinical laboratory testing on site.
Our services also are ideal for physician offices, clinics, and urgent care centers that would like to provide laboratory results at the point-of-care (POC). POC testing expedites patient care by providing immediate test results, which will increase service revenue. Tests as simple of group A strep screens or as complex as Hgb A1C can all be performed at the POC. Our consultants provide comprehensive, cost effective and time saving services for any project. We provide custom protocols as well as pre-developed templates, which can be adapted to fit a variety of projects. The time and labor saved on recreating and re-work alone will show immediate financial benefit to each client.
Clinical laboratories are strictly regulated and compliance is not optional. The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA ‘88) has set standards that all laboratories performing testing on human specimens must meet. Our consultants understand these requirements and can help your laboratory become CLIA compliant. At CLC, we recognize the diverse needs of each of our clients and are dedicated to working alongside you to provide the best possible service.
Once CLC has been selected to support your project development, and a formal commitment has been made, CLC will provide a timeline of deliverables and a cost itemization sheet. These will be reviewed with the client to ensure that all commitments and expectations are met by both the client and CLC. After the project begins, CLC will perform weekly reviews of these items and provide ongoing feedback. The excellent communication and follow-up skills of our consultants allows clients to see progress as well as express concerns in a timely manner.
We at CLC recognize that many of these services are offered by other consulting companies. The difference among others and us is that at CLC, our consultants are located nationwide, are experienced and well-respected, and are available on a team basis. We staff one lead project consultant and endless behind the scene consultants who are readily available and provide the most comprehensive expertise of any consulting group in the field. In addition, two of our strongest aspects are our senior management team, which oversees every project and our Board of Consultants, who review each project to assure completeness.
