Amy Hamilton, B.S.,MT(ASCP)
Amy Hamilton Is a Medical Technologist with a multi-discipline career spanning ten years. Her B.S. in Medical Technology was obtained at Purdue University in 1999. She completed her Medical Technology Clinical Experience at Methodist Hospital and earned a Medical Technology certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists also in 1999. Her career began as a Generalist working for Mid-America Clinical Laboratories, in Indianapolis, Indiana from 1999-2001. From 2001 to 2004, Amy served as the Laboratory Technical Supervisor for St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital, in Frankfort, Indiana. To gain experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Amy then took a position with Covance Central Laboratories in 2004 in the Special Chemistry department. To gain more experience with Clinical Trials and expand on her experience with LIS systems, Amy moved to a niche position as a Calculations Administrator for Covance. Capitalizing on her LIS Administrator experience, Amy was then offered a position as the LIS Administrator with DCL Medical Laboratories in 2008.
Her various experiences has led to her current position with Eli Lilly and Company in 2009. Amy is currently employed as Senior Associate in Clinical Diagnostic Services. She works with multiple vendors that have been outsourced for Laboratory, ECG and Imaging services. Amy is directly involved with the management and oversight of the Clinical Research Organizations supporting the Clinical Trials. She interfaces with the study teams to oversee the progress of the Clinical Trials and supports the trials through Data Base Lock. Amy has supported Oncology, Diabetes and Erectile Dysfunction Clinical Trials and continues to develop and broaden her Clinical Trial portfolio.
